‘Live!’ Welcomes New Announcer In Team Shakeup

Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest are getting a shake-up via a new face and viewers to Live! With Kelly and Ryan are loving it. The 50-year-old talk show queen and her 46-year-old co-host have now been welcomed by the syndicated talk show’s new announcer for three days running – Thursday and Friday of last week welcomed media personality Deja Vu, with it looking like she’s back for today’s airing. It’s all DJ beats and pepped-up action – check it out below.

A Deja-Vu Deal

Scroll for the video, one that comes as Kelly makes headlines for finally returning to the show she’s hosted since 2001 after a week off. A giant hoopla was made over the blonde’s absence, with Ryan getting joined by no less than three guest co-hosts including Maria Menounos and Ali Wentworth.

A video last week introduced Deja Vu, who was welcomed by American Idol host Ryan: “It’s so much fun watching you say our names because I know it’s out cue,” he said.

Kelly, meanwhile, had added: “As you know, change happens glacially around here. So I’m excited.”

It’s unclear whether Deja Vu’s presence will become a permanent fixture, but fans already have thoughts, and they’re eyeing her up for a long stay. “Love the new intro!! Good energy!! Awesome!!🔥” one wrote, although others were, as has already been reported, complaining of “repeat” footage on the series’ Instagram.

“That announcer sure has a great voice…👏,” a keen fan added. See more photos of Kelly and Ryan after the video.

Kelly Reveals Stay Or Leave

Kelly Ripa with Ryan Seacrest backstage

October 2020 marked Kelly turning 50. The mom of three big-time hinted that her days on morning TV may be numbered as she spoke to Parade – Kelly revealed another avenue up her sleeve as she told the media outlet:

“I’ve been writing a lot, so my goal ultimately would be to eventually get off camera and start working behind the camera more in that creative aspect because I really do enjoy the writing process so much.”

Then came the one reason the star may not quit.

He’s The Biggest Draw?

Kelly was then quick to gush over Seacrest, himself in the news of late for finally ending his E! red carpet presenting after a 14-year stint. The pint-sized star had only good words to say about Ryan:

“I talk about this with Ryan all the time because I was really looking to retire like by now, but Ryan Seacrest is so fabulous to work with and he is such a good friend.”

“We’ve been friends for two decades, and I’ve got to tell you he is really such a draw to me there. I just love working with him so much,” Kelly added.
