Brittany Phelan won her first-ever women’s ski cross World Cup gold medal on Sunday, holding off Marielle Berger Sabbatel of France after Swiss athletes Talina Gantenbein and Margaux Dumont crashed partway through the race in Reiteralm, Austria.
