Carrie Fisher‘s affair with Star Wars actor Harrison Ford has been detailed in black-and-white as the actress penned her memoir. The 2016-deceased star had a steamy affair with Ford, one that was kept secret for 40 years and finally came out in the open as Carrie wrote her book, The Princess Diarist.

Carrie was 60 when she came clean over the affair, calling it "so intense. It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend." See the details below.

‘Shocked’ That He ‘Fancied’ Her

Carrie was 19 when she embarked on her affair with then-married George, 33. A three-month fling is detailed in her book, one coming in the form of a personal diary and seeing her recall intimate moments with the Hans Solo actor. The two hit it off at George’s London birthday bash, this as 1977-movie Star Wars: A New Hope was being filmed.

"I was shocked by the fact that he fancied me. I was a very insecure girl and had only had one boyfriend," she wrote.

Three Months Of ‘One Night Stands’

Ford had called Carrie "our little princess without her buns," with the party seeing both decide to get drunk. "It makes me stupid, sick, and unconscious really fast," Fisher wrote of alcohol. The two kissed later that night in Ford’s car, with Carrie admitting that she’d fantasized about the moment.

After that, things only got more intense. Fisher wrote that Ford "pulled me back into the seat, moving us closer together until we were two faces, one kiss." More photos below.

Real Kisses

She added: "Going to the place where we would rehearse that kissing we would be doing a ear and a half later in The Empire Strikes Back" – clearly, the kisses were real. Fisher went onto describe the secret affair as a "three-month one night stand," also mentioning thoughts of Ford leaving his wife.

“Harrison could expectedly (but gently and responsibly) leave his wife. And after a barely noticeable, dignified amount of time, he would marry me (in an unsentimental, tasteful way.) We would subsequently astonish everyone- including ourselves- by remaining together for the rest of whoever died first’s life."

Some Men Won’t Leave The Wife

Carrie’s wish did not come true, with Ford going back to his 1964-married wife, Mary Marquadt. The actor has been thrice married, wedding Melissa Mathison in 1983 and actress Calista Flockhart in 2010 – he’s still married to the Ally McBeal star. Following the brief affair, Carrie, too, moved on by marrying Paul Fisher.

“I wouldn’t want to live through that again, ever. It’s just so obsessive, and self-obsessed, and confused.” Was it one of the most intense experiences of her life? “I think so," Carrie stated.
