The Conjuring 3, also known as The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, was released in theater in early June for lovers of the horror genre, as well as followers of the film series. However, for many parts of the country, going into movie theaters simply isn’t an option.

While some cities across the United States are airing the latest films, some people prefer to stay extra cautious and safe and watch newly-released movies and television shows from their homes.

According to a report from Film Daily, those wanting to check out The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It can do so by streaming it on HBO Max.

The outlet went on to tell their readers that streaming of the Conjuring film is also available on several VPNs (virtual private networks), including Express VPN, which offers a 30-day free trial to people who are signing up for the first time.

Other VPNs also offer similar offers to their new users.

‘The Conjuring: 3’ Follows A Murder Investigation

Directed by Michael Chaves, the plot of _The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It follows a married couple, Ed and Lorraine Warrens, as they investigate a murder that could be linked to a demonic possession.

According to the report, Ed and Lorraine are seen working with a man who is on trial for murder but proclaims his innocence, stating that he was possessed by a demon at the time the crime occurred.

Vera Farmiga Describes The Film As A ‘Love Story’

At a press release for the film, actress Vera Farmiga admitted, via Screen Rant, that she looks at the trilogy as more of a love story than a horror story, not only because of her on-screen marriage with the character played by Patrick Wilson, but also due to the families they help and the casework they do.

"What I find fascinating is they [the Warrens] are the personification of love… it’s more of a love story than it is a horror story to me and that’s what makes it so unique and successful," she shared.

Love Brings Vera Farmiga Back To The Film Series Each Time

According to Farmiga, she keeps returning to production due to the love story she believes is emulated by the films.

"That’s why I enjoy coming back, I think that, that message of love – not only for the Warrens for each other, but for the work that they do and for the people that they help. Y’know, that selflessness, that compassion, that embodiment of love is really, really something holy and special that makes it digestible and beautiful," she explained.
