How Demi Lovato Really Feels About Having Kids

Since Demi Lovato came out as non-binary last year, they’ve continued revealing private information to their loyal fans. The Skyscraper singer doesn’t consider it oversharing but helping others like them accept their identity. They sat down with Hoda Kotb on Today Show to discuss life since coming out, including their new NBC show Unidentified with Demi Lovato.

Having Kids As A Non-Binary Individual

Naturally, humans change their minds every minute, like how you can buy a Taco even though you entered the food village to get burgers. The Heartbreak singer expressed their desire to have kids in 2020, but things changed in May 2021 when they came out as non-binary. Although their gender identity doesn’t hamper their childbearing abilities, Demi is unsure for now.

They said, “I used to really want that, and then, as I’m approaching my 30s without children, it’s pretty nice. I have maternal instincts, I love my animals, and I used to really think that one day I would love to be a parent.” Demi Lovato would be 30 this year, so their choice may change again.

What Did Demi Decide?

To go with the flow! Being a non-binary person, Demi is very into gender fluidity and self-discovery. They don’t like the constraints that come with “normalcy,” so they’ve decided not to make any final decisions. In a concluding explanation, Demi said, “I just don’t know because I’m going with the flow, and if life presents itself with a child in the future, then it does and we’ll take it. We’ll see what happens.”

Relationship Life

Over the years, Demi has been linked to many famous names and, more recently, Noah Cyrus. The duo was caught holding hands months before delivering a fantastic performance last year at the YouTube pride show. Since then, fans have speculated on the integrity of their romance since Demi and Noah’s older sister Miley Cyrus have had a long-standing feud.

The artist, however, identifies as a pansexual individual (someone who’s sexually attracted to human beings and not gender or sexual orientation). They’re “very fluid, so I date men and women.”

Life As A Single Person

Lovato focuses on their NBC show Unidentified where she connects with extraterrestrials like Ghosts living in abandoned motels. They visit the places with their closest friend Matthew Scott. “I would say I’m pretty happy. I think that I’m very content, and I have moments of happiness and moments of bliss and joy that are so fulfilling.”

Yesterday, Demi deleted (or archived) all their Instagram pictures except one as though indicating a fresh start.
