How to live longer: Cyclists shown to have 23% better chance of avoiding premature death

WARMER days and longer nights have arrived. A time for tanning in the sun or revising for exams with holidays lying tantalizingly on the other side. For many, however, it means dusting off the lycra and jerseys and enjoying the freedom and exhilaration of riding on two wheels. More than just a way to get fit, a new study has found cyclists are less likely to die early than those who don’t.
