Before Harrison Ford took up the hat and whip, George Lucas opened up on where the idea came from to include such iconic artifacts in the film series and why The Temple of Doom’s Sankara Stones were a “reach” for the series. Years later, the star worked with director Steven Spielberg to include some James Bond references into the same film.
