Kate Beckinsale On Cats, Foreskin Facials, And Dating Advice From The 1800s

With quick wits and incredible beauty, Kate Beckinsale truly is the whole package. While her flawless selfies certainly have fans flocking to her Instagram page, more often it’s her quirky British humor and entertaining captions that keep them coming back for more.

Scroll for four times the 48-year-old Window actress showed she’s hilariously witty.

The Hilarious Reason She's A 'Cat Person'

Kate is a fur mom to three gorgeous pets — Persian cats Clive and Willow, and a Pomeranian named Myf. The trio is often featured on the star’s Instagram feed and, while it’s clear that Kate loves all of her animals dearly, the Underworld alum is a "cat person" through and through.

In an interview with People magazine back in 2019, Kate revealed the hilarious reason why she prefers cats over dogs.

“Cats are easier than dogs,” she explained, because “you don’t have to walk around with a bag of poo like you do with a dog, which I hate to walk around with a bag of poo.”

Trying Out The 'Penis Facial'

Back in 2018, Kate had Instagram followers in stitches with her review of the "penis facial" — a procedure devised by New York-based facialist Georgia Louise for Sandra Bullock one year prior and which quickly became all the rage among Hollywood celebrities.

Officially called the Hollywood EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) Facial, Kate tried it out in November that year, taking to social media to post a picture of the results.

“After a long flight I do like to lie down and be covered in a mask of liquified cloned foreskins-frankly who doesn’t?” she wrote in the caption of the since-deleted post, per People.

Kate hilariously continued: “Thank you @georgialouisesk for an amazing facial. I especially liked you reassuring me it would be ‘light on penis’ as it was my first time x.”

Dating Advice From The 1800s

Kate was unapologetically herself as she read from a Victorian-era etiquette guide on dating advice for Vanity Fair back in 2016. Assisted by a Victorian gentleman, the glamorous actress — who’s no stranger to period dramas, having been in Whit Stillman’s Love & Friendship that year — added her personal take on how to get a man in the 1800s, comparing the era’s expectations of ladylike demeanor to "a beaten animal" and unattended ladies to "luggage at an airport that could possibly explode."

First Date Outfit

More recently, Kate showed off her witty and wicked sense of humor in a behind-the-scenes video from the movie set of Jolt. Lying in bed covered in bloodied makeup, the star joked that her appearance was nothing more than her ideal "first date outfit."

"I wouldn’t do anything too complicated: tank top, some, you know, fun jewelry, couple of open sores, and some bloodstains," she said, describing her look down to the last detail. "Tends to get me going," she added.
