La Bohème REVIEW: Good performance of great production

NO COMPOSER could ever write the music for a death scene better than Puccini. Despite having seen it many times before, and the fact that Mimi’s demise from tuberculosis is predictable from her first cough early on in the opera, when it finally happens, I am always left close to tears by the power and intensity of the music.
