Meghan Markle In Valentino Reignites Pre-Duchess Fashion At Invictus Games

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry were in The Netherlands last week for the annual Invictus Games held in The Hague. Her fashion style during the three-day event reminded people of her pre-Duchess era, especially her Valentino outfits.

She wore an all-white pantsuit that had people talking for days because it was worlds apart from her new knee-length dresses styles.

A Power Suit For A Duchess

The Duchess wore an oversized double-breasted blazer, wide-legged pants, a long-sleeved white shirt, white pointed-toe pumps, and a matching Valentino handbag with a gold link-chain handle from the Pierre-Paolo Piccioli collection. She styled her shiny black hair in a deep wave framing her much-loved bright smile.

Fun Facts per IOL,

The White Valentino shoes the Duchess of Sussex wore are the same ones from her much-talked-about wedding, and her Cartier Tank wristwatch is a vintage piece that once belonged to her belated mother-in-law Princess Diana.

The happy couple attended the welcome reception in The Hague meeting with athletes from Team Ukraine despite the country's ongoing war against Russia.

Stepping Out In Valentino

The Duchess wore another white Valentino outfit during the reception – a long-sleeved mini dress with a Floral applique neckline and bright red lipstick! She paired the dress with a pair of brown pointed-toe stilettos and a wavy side-swept curly hair.

A Detour To See The Queen

The couple detoured to London to see Prince Harry's grandmother, the Queen, Elizabeth II. It was the first time the trio had been together since leaving the Royal Palace in 2020 despite individual visits by the husband and wife. Now they live in Montecito, California, with their children.

The Duchess impressed her loyal fans with her Invictus Games fashion because it was the first time in a long while she wore a minidress and statement power suit. Since her marriage to Prince Harry, she appeared to have toned down her style (not that she was loud before).

Back To Life As Usual?

The Duchess' husband, Prince Harry, is a Patron of the Invictus Games, and he's been one since its inception in 2014. The Games give injured, wounded, and sick ex-servicemen and women an opportunity to do something challenging despite their physical disabilities.

The founders drew inspiration from the USA's Warrior Games and its open to active and veteran service personnel.

There's no telling if this would become a regular appearance from the couple, considering their peaceful state before the Games.
