MMA News: Dustin Poirier Speaks About Argument With Michael Chandler

Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler have been two UFC members that have gone at each other for the past few years. Tensions are clearly high between the two, and it doesn't seem like that will change anytime soon.

Both of them disklike each other and everything that Dustin Poirier has said about Michael Chandler is certainly backing that up. Their most recent incident happened cage side as both of them seemed to be going at it.

What Did Poirier Say?

In a recent interview with DC&RC, Poirier talks about his confrontation with Chandler during UFC 276.

"Look, Daniel, I knew somewhere this was gonna come up. The thing with me now — and my wife — we've spoke about it," Poirier said of his altercation with Chandler. "I'm not tweeting nothing negative towards nobody, in interviews, online, nothing. If I have something to say, I'm gonna say it when the person's present. And that's what you saw right there. I had something to say to him, and I got it off my chest, told him what I felt about him, and that's it. If he ain't here to defend himself or for me to speak in front of him, we don't need to talk about it."

Michael Chandler Hasn't Made Any Comments

Michael Chandler hasn't said anything about what happened between the two. It would make sense if he does some time soon, but there hasn't been anything else outside of the first initial comment that he made about the confrontation.

Michael Chandler didn't even really say much after the confrontation, but it's going to be interesting to see what he says now after those comments from Dustin Poirier.

This Isn't The First Time, And It Won't Be The Last Time

There's clearly something going on between these two guys, which indicates that this isn't going to be the first time or the last time they go at it. The best way to solve this is by going at it in the ring.

We Need To See These Two Go At It

From the UFC's perspective and for all MMA fans, this would be one of the best fights in recent memory for a few reasons. Not only are these two some of the best in their sport, but they also hate each other, and it would sell plenty of tickets.
