NBA Rumors: Mikal Bridges Trolls Celtics With Epic Devin Booker Pic

The Phoenix Suns have proven that they can compete at the highest level in this league and that last year’s success and the trip to the NBA Finals wasn’t a fluke.

Even with Devin Booker out of the lineup, they continue to be one of the most dominant teams on both ends of the floor, ranking 7th in points per game at 115.3 and 7th in defense at 109.5 points allowed. They also have the 3rd best net rating at 5.9.

Bridges Post Hilarious Pic Of Devin Booker

More than that, the Suns have played with great confidence during their hot start of the season, as you can tell by Mikal Bridges’ tweet after beating the Boston Celtics.

Bridges got the first technical foul of his career and he took to Twitter to address the situation, trolling everybody with a hilarious pic of his teammate Devin Booker.

Booker continues to struggle with a hamstring injury but he’s been spotted doing some light shooting and jogging over the past couple of days.

Monty Williams Shares Injury Update On Booker

Booker has missed the past four games but the Suns have fared just fine without him.

Even so, it’s clear that they need their best player back on the floor, but they won’t rush him as soft-tissue injuries are often tricky and prone to setbacks:

_ “Sometimes if a guy is hurt or he can’t play, I know those guys feel bad, like they did something wrong and that’s just part of our game. I just need to know the information so I can prepare for the practice, the day or the game. I know that they are trying to do the best they can, so we’ve had pretty good open black and white conversation about the condition of our players,"_ coach Monty Williams told Arizona Sports.

Deandre Ayton Is Still Angry About His Contract

Even if they get their best player back, the Suns still need to address the Deandre Ayton situation.

Ayton’s camp wanted him to sign a max deal last summer but the franchise was hesitant about committing that much money on the former first overall pick, which is why he’s still reportedly unhappy with the organization:

“It didn’t work out and I got it out of my mind right away,” Ayton told The Undefeated . “What I can do to make it rub in everyone’s faces is to bust my ass, work hard and win games with the Suns. At the end of the day, it’s all about winning. If you want to get something and earn something in this league, you have to be a winner. Do something that leads to winning. Me putting my head down and working is just closing out all of that noise. I’m not really worried about all of that."

Can The Suns Keep Things Up?

Even though the Suns have balled out throughout the first third of the season, some people are still cautious when talking about them as true contenders.

That same underdog mindset fueled their fire last season and led them to arguably their greatest season in franchise history.

Now, the biggest question is whether they’ll be able to keep their foot on the gas even now that all teams in the West are looking sharper and healthier. But judging by what we’ve seen, they’ll be just fine.
