Olympic hopeful Leslie Sexton leads Canadian team into cross-country athletics worlds

Canadian women's distance runner, wearing sunglasses and dressed in a long-sleeve top and University of British Columbia Thunderbirds singlet, is pictured jogging.

Vancouver resident Leslie Sexton, who is challenging herself over different distances and surfaces before the April 28 Hamburg Marathon, will take to the grass and sand-covered pedestrian paths in the women’s 10-kilometre race Saturday at the World Athletics Cross-Country Championships.
