Pensioners to pay new levy – how retirees can survive the National Insurance changes

PENSIONERS will need to pay a 1.25 percent levy next year, the Government has confirmed, amid the announcement of the 1.25 percent hike in National Insurance as a way to fund the social care crisis. This means it’s “more crucial than ever” for savers to “make the most of their money”, including their pension savings.
