Mental Health Advocate

It's no secret that Gomez has dealt with a lot over the past years. From her high-profile breakups with exes Justin Bieber and The Weeknd to undergoing a major operation to save her life, she has proven to be one tough cookie.

Aside from her public heartbreaks, Gomez has also dealt with anxiety and depression. She recently shared that she has bipolar and has become a champion for mental health with her brands Rare Beauty and Wondermind.

“I live with bipolar, I don’t suffer from it anymore,” Selena shared in a Wondermind video. “And I’m really happy and proud of the progress that I’ve made.”

Only Murders In The Building Season 2

Currently, Gomez is in full actress mode, as she is busy filming for Hulu's Only Murders in the Building in New York.

The hit show received much acclaim from both fans and critics, becoming the most-watched comedy series on the platform.

Aside from her TV comeback, Selena also has a couple of new movies lined up in the next years. She will also be producing a new true-crime documentary with the Spanish network Univision.

Happy Place

Having unconditional love from her dogs has definitely helped Gomez push through the challenges. She continues to inspire, entertain and take steps to help change the world with her advocacies.

"I know firsthand how scary and lonely it can feel to face anxiety and depression by yourself at a young age…" she said in a Rare Beauty campaign. "The world needs to know that mental health matters. It's just as important as your physical health, and I wish we could all acknowledge that, not just in words but through our actions."
