Spock actor Leonard Nimoy warned of ‘excruciatingly scary’ effects of smoking before death

LEONARD NIMOY shot to international fame for his role as Spock in the Star Trek franchise. Playing the role for almost 50 years, fans across the globe were devastated when he died aged 83, in 2015. Having passed away from end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease , Nimoy spent the last few years of his life warning others about the dangers smoking can have on your health.
