Stamp duty holiday ISN’T saving buyers’ money

LATEST figures released today point to the fact that the stamp duty holiday is now costing buyers more than they are saving. Major lender the Halifax issued its latest house price index this morning, which highlights that the average UK house price has increased from £241,604 in July, when the saving on property purchase tax was introduced, to £253,243 in November.
