Tax perk: Couples may be able to reduce tax by £252 – but some will miss out

MARRIED couples could be entitled to a tax break of up to £252 a year, but many are missing out according to HM Revenue and Customs . Thousands of people who are married or in civil partnerships are not claiming their Marriage Allowance, which enables them to transfer 10 percent of their personal tax free allowance to their partner each year.
