THE PFIZER vaccine is being offered as a booster shot to curb the threat of a resurgent coronavirus this winter. To support its emergency authorisation in the US, the Food and Drug Administration analysed data from the original clinical trial involving the booster shot. In its analysis, the FDA picked up a side effect “more frequently” seen after the booster dose.
