Universal Credit: DWP minister addresses uplift amid warning for legacy benefit claimants

UNIVERSAL CREDIT payments have temporarily increased, following a £1,000 per year boost to the standard allowance, effective for 12 months only. Recently, Express.co.uk asked DWP minister Will Quince about the uplift, following calls to extend it to legacy benefit claimants.
