Vince McMahon Reportedly No Longer Liked Bray Wyatt Before Release

News on Bray Wyatt‘s release has surfaced as Fightful gained more details on the surprise exit. Wyatt, who was released from the company on July 31st of this year, was reportedly outspoken when creative was bad, which allegedly made WWE CEO Vince McMahon, not like him. Wyatt’s release came as a shock to many, and ever since that day, many fans have wondered what went wrong as Wyatt’s "fiend" character was one of the biggest names in the WWE.

Last Minute Changes

According to the report on Fightful Select, Both Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt were upset with WWE’s creative team towards their WrestleMania 37 feud. Changes were made to the match two days before the event, and issues were surrounding the burning suit angle. The eventual match at WrestleMania was met with confusion and anger from fans. Sources even reportedly said that there was "never a true creative endgame for that story." These quotes would make logical sense as to the end of their long feud being head-scratching.

Cut Due to "Budget Cuts"?

Orton would win the WrestleMania match in just under 6 minutes, as Alexa Bliss distracted The Fiend. The next night on Monday Night Raw, Wyatt returned to his Firefly Fun House character. Wyatt gave a now ominous promo of his future, and it was his last appearance in the WWE before he was released. Upon the release of Wyatt, talent was told that it was due to "budget cuts," after which nearly 20 employees of WWE reached out to Fightful, stating that they did not believe he was released simply to budget cuts.

Twitter Response

Last week, a source close to the situation told [Ringsidenews] (https://www.ringsidenews.com/2021/10/30/internal-opinion-that-bray-wyatt-deserved-to-be-fired-by-wwe/), "Not being an apologist or a WWE defender, just telling you like it is. If you were running a business, and Windham was on your payroll, you’d release him, too. Between his backstage antics and the way he handled himself when making millions and millions while medically flagged, he really deserved to be released." Wyatt responded to the report on Twitter in a post that reads, "Now that we have Johnny and Bruce’s opinion, I would like to share mine soon. #KultofWindham." The Johnny and Bruce in question are likely WWE’s Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis and Senior Vice President Bruce Pritchard.

Where To Next?

Wyatt’s 90-day no-compete clause has ended, and he is free to join any wrestling promotion he desires. Endless speculation has occurred across the internet on where Wyatt will show up next. All Elite Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, IMPACT Wrestling have all been talked about as possible landing spots, but there has been no word of a contract signing yet. It will be fascinating for the following weeks to months to see if Bray Wyatt debuts for another company and is allowed to fulfill the creative desires he wants to share with the [wrestling] (https://www.inquisitr.com/category/sports/wrestling) world.
